My Grief Recovery Story
A friend of mine, who is also a GRM specialist, called me up on the 4-year anniversary date of my daughter’s death. I had just come back from the cemetery where I prayed with my family, my daughter’s friends, and their parents. We released red balloons, which is one of her signs from heaven. It was such a beautiful day.
I had no idea how this day would change my life. My friend told me that she had gone through the Grief Recovery Method and how amazing it was. Honestly, I didn’t think I needed it. But, I felt her passion and she it all to me and it seemed so interesting. I ended up going through it with her. I thank God that I did. I learned to let go of some thoughts and images that I was holding on to of the night that my daughter was killed. These thoughts and images were blocking my complete joy. I am now able to apply these tools that I have learned to every relationship in my life.
